Outstanding show about the search for Heavy Water that was produced in Norway and sunk in its lake in 1944, and the Allies hunt for WMDs that we thought the germans were making.
They've really done some overhauling on NOVA.
No more glacial pace/thin content. It's a much better show than it used to be.
We never did find those WMDs that Einstein warned FDR about did we?
how about "Ted Kennedy's Sunken Secret".
An indepth analysis with Mark Furman re-inacting the unresolved death of Mary Jo, and why poor little teddy waiting 8 hours, had some coffee, before he told someone "Oh yeah, there's a girl in the car. I knew I forgot something. Holy cow, I've got to call John, I mean Bobby, er..uh I guess its just me. sh*t."
Rent the Movie, "The Heros of Telemark" 1965. Stars Kirk Douglass, Richard Harris and Michael Redgrave.
So, if it's heavy water and it was dumped in the lake it must have sunk to the bottom and still be down there at the bottom, right? ;^)
Einstein lied,
People died.
Sorry.......couldn't resist.
