How is everyone?
I see that I've already missed a grand Bob exposition.

"If it was too long or drawn out, I didn't pay any attention. Upon examining the link, I wasn't here for that. At all." Ah, UTH, (Undead Thread Historiana). It's wasted on the wrong people!
In any case, be sure to hang around next Tuesday. We're taking off for Mars, and your Dust Bunnies are going along for the ride!

If I'm awake, I'll try to be here. We're
supposed to visit the other brother either
sunday or monday. As I've mentioned, it's
a long drive & I usually end up sleeping late the
next day 'cause I don't feel good when I go to bed.

I see that. This may be the first time that I've come across mention of spider robots.

"Iranians have more freedom to celebrate Christmas in Iran than Americans in the United States."
In light of this most recent 6th Circuit ruling, I'd tend to agree on the religious freedom thing. For example, you'd be blown away by the lack of "separation of church and state" in Ukraine.

This is a snail. His name is--you guessed it--Jacques. Not only is he a snail, but a racing one.
Jacques is currently beating this thread.

Based on a Christian friend born in Iran who came back from visiting relatives there months ago.
The place is off the hook radical Islam wise.
Try to say your a Christian and they will force a Koran on you and debate you into their cult.
You better fake taking the Koran for real like this friend did or they might cut off your head right there.
We will be at war with them soon, it's the worst it's been ever according to the person who visited their family in Iran recently.

Sure he's beating this thread. He carries his home on his back and doesn't require gas to get it around.
I have a vehicle bigger than a Hummer that gets 11 miles per gallon, so I only travel when I need or want to. (which is every day) :-)

Since this is the only thing going on right now, let's do it.
Try to say your a Christian and they will force a Koran on you and debate you into their cult. You better fake taking the Koran for real like this friend did or they might cut off your head right there.
This is true. The point was hyperbole. As I mentioned in the earlier post, Ukrainians and other Eastern Europeans are shocked by America's "wall of separation." "You have no religion classes in your schools?," they ask. I've had to explain how the idea that a mere Ten Commandments display is tantamount to forcing religion on passers-by is not absurd.
We will be at war with them soon, it's the worst it's been ever according to the person who visited their family in Iran recently.
Iran is Hell on Earth--there can be no mistaking that. Those of us who were not alive during the years from Hitler's rise to power to the Final Solution get in on a bit of an encore: Persia is the new Germany, which incidentally, was the old Germany.
Appeasement is not an option.
To: Das Outsider
Iranians have been a great source as well of terrorists and finance the spreading of terror in the Western world.
Their leader is still believed to be the hostage taker that held all those Americans for a long time under Carter and he considers himself Sacred and a chosen person of his false god in need of a nuke!
What problem, right?
I don't want to see those people guided by devils like that, but this is another deal that will be forced on use to do something about fairly soon IMO.
I know there are some good people stuck in Iran that would like to change it, but I think they are too few in number and don't have the weapons for a good enough insurrection.

I don't think a military solution is workable in Iran.
Some would say we have enough on our plate with Iraq, but that isn't the point.
Military adventurism is not the right solution to our differences with Iran. We need to feed the hunger of the youthful Iranian population for Freedom, Democracy, and economic growth.
This will require patience, stealth, covert operations, and more political unity than has been shown recently.
Our ability to deal effectively, and less violently, with Iran thus will depend on the outcome of our own national elections at the end of George Bush's Presidency.
Hillary would not be an effective American Leader for that scenario.
This is going to require strategy, not knee-jerk military jingoism. Our troops will need a break by then -- let them chew on Syria.

That possibility has months passed, and Iran is having any moderate Islamic types fully radicalized as we speak.
Let me be frank, according to the former Iranian citizen that travels to see other family now and then their. It's like watching Nazi Hitler rising and we will be forced into war soon.
This is going to happen, there is zero chance from what I've been told that Iran will now get us into a war with them. Their government and radicals will force it soon.
This ex Iranian citizen could not believe the change since the new President and says it is the scariest place on earth to him now, he will NOT return.

Mean to say there is zero chance we will not be at war with them.
I've never seen such a passionate and stressed out description of a land by an ex citizen in my life.

"... Iran will now get us into a war with them." How?
The only way war can come between the U.S. and Iran is if we let it come. -- and IF we let it come it will mean that we were manipulated by them into it!
Let us hope our leaders at the time are not so foolish.
