Yes, we don't even say ride in THAT context.

Okay... I'll admit I have absolutely no idea what that means.
Would it be too much to ask for someone to humor me?

Here, it's draft, if it's a "breeze" or a "draft" beer, but the proper spelling for a beer is, of course, "draught."

I think 'hop' means 'to go out', langer is a nickname Cork people call each other.

As a reminder to those looking for a place to stay as we journey to Mars, keep in mind that the rooms built into the courtyard walls are intentionally tiny, meant basically for sleeping in, and those who choose to stay there are expected to spend most of their time OUT of them.
They are cozy and comfortable, though.

Well, we use many words in many different ways here... ride is
one of those words & the only one coming to mind at the moment.
Of course, I now have the song "ride, ride, ride, hitchin' a ride" stuck
in my head. So thinking of another example may take a while.

I already have a headache.

Thanks, Bob! I can now say with no hesitation that I have been reprimanded.
We haven't had a parlor before, much less "toys" and since this has always been a "family" thread, "running nekkid" in the halls has always been something that wasn't done, out of respect for those just barely out of puberty.
I wonder though, if you could have done it privately? Maybe not. It may not have been as effective, eh?
(I'll just stay in the library or the observatory from now on and mind my own business.)

Thank you. It seems to happen quite regularly to me. Not as often as you catching the zeros, but rather frequently, nonetheless.

I've known pavement to be used in
reference to roads. If someone fell &
hit the pavement, they fell into the road.
However, American slang does vary from north to
south & east to west... being in the northeast, I run into
Appalachian hicks. So my English is tainted by that.
