"Where do you get the labor to mine all of that rock?" That's the bad news. As owner/operator, you have to work your fanny off.
Considering you'll weigh only four ounces, it may not take long.

This is true. The Zetas are quite weak--since they're primarily built for intellect--so they wouldn't help much.
Might there be a race of Arnold look-alike aliens that will settle for three Gasprols an hour?

Aldi is great, but sometimes you have to watch what you buy.
They've really gotten better in the last few years.

Aldi is a cheap grocery store. It's actually a European company
I don't think it's out west, though.

We have the Costco, Sam's Club, WalMart, Home Depot, Marshalls and Stater Bros. for most basic things.

Yeah. I don't ever remember an Aldi in CA. Albertson's, Sam's, and Wal-Mart was about as close as they came.

Aldi sells special stuff like computers, TVs, toys, kitchen stuff, etc., every once in a while. But the store is mainly a grocery store.

The real gold diggers at Sutter's Mill in California were the ones who supplied equipment to the miners, (forty-niners).
Just so, the money to be made in the asteroids will go to those who supply robots and other mining equipment, from mirrors to programmable clocking devices, and chemical extractors.
I'd like to cruise around in my automated factory, supplying outlying mines with newly manufactured tools and equipment, getting paid occasionally in raw ores which I would turn into finished products. The good life!
Got to recharge the batteries now, see all you good folks later!

Out here, it is best food wise to have enough freezer and budget to buy on sale.
I think I mentioned I have a local vegetable place that is 20% of normal on the cost of things and that saves a small fortune.
You can get name brand grade a chicken and meats a third of normal price on sale.
I get chicken on sale cut up for about 50 cents a pound, sirloin steak about $2.29.
Two liter bottles of soda is about 59 cents on sale.
Just a matter of buying right, unless you need it.

Then it is probably cheaper to eat out.
Today I ate at a place where they grill up for you what ever plate of meat and vegetables you want. As much as you want for one price.
Pretty good stuff.
Yesterday evening I ate at a place where I had ribs, chicken, turkey, ham, salad, soup and a cheese enchilada...
