I find this day that I have both more and less sympathy for pregnant women.
More - because I have a better understanding of the physical discomforts of late-term pregnancy
Less, because gas-bloating got me to the analogous abdominal distension in far less time.

GAD, but the last 14 hours or so have sucked.

I do want to get Firefox, though. I shall have to use my superior "negotiating" skills and any spare wiles I may posess. Hmmmm.

Guess what's up with my knees:

Cartilage behind the kneecaps-I have slightly extra!
And this forces the patella to bang into the lower end of the femur, and the top portion of your shin.
Oh, and my flat feet are adding to this slightly.
(Probably, I would guess, compounded by my loss of weight from 132 to 110-if-I'm-lucky..)

I wa there for that, and it was quite funny.
The spider was extremely P.O'd about not being able to bite the pill bug.

(We eventually overfed said spider and it ran away.)

but as my brother said, it ran away.
We were so disappointed.
