Teenage girls.
They went and watched it over and over and over again.
I am still ticked that it knocked "Anastasia" out of the running for best sound track that year.

You can do anything "innocently"?
You definitely need to spend more time in the parlor with me us, NnB. *seductive purr*

No, that's what she was saying when she described it.
She said something to the effect of "I laughed when he
died. She was all like 'I'll never let go, Jack. I'll never let
go.'. Then she prys his cold, dead hands off & THROWS
him back in the water.". I (of course) laughed like a loon
when she said that... but she did mention she said "Woohoo!".

My daughter thinks it's the greatest movie ever made. But then, she's wierd. And old enough to know better.

I haven't seen it, but OldTax-lady said it was the worst movie she'd ever seen, until "Star Wars Episode 3."

What?! Didn't you want the imitation "heart of the sea" pendant given away for each ten tickets sold?

I'm usually very good at picking out the psychology of some things.
However, this one eludes me.
Maybe it's for the same reasons people go "Awwwww" over a chipmunk.. Dicaprio does look a bit like a chipmunk.

Would be nice to find out if it did..but no.
Doesn't have to have a meaning.
Of course, my kitty "Kearen" is an alteration of "Kieren" which itself is a bastardisation of "Chiron".

I haven't seen Ep3 yet.
Anything worth MST3K'ing in it?

I watched it with my daughter when it came out on VHS tape. (Hers.) I would not dignify the new Star Wars movies with my presence...
As for a "pendant," I cared so little when the movie was released that I had no clue there WAS a pendant. And I most certainly would not have kept one if it had been given me. Most likely, I would have given it the Deep Six.
