The place needs a little care, though...a good sweep will work wonders. Sweep?

Still on track with the weightlifting. Keeping myself from pushing too hard is still my biggest issue. Clothes are fitting better, I feel less flabby already, but the scale says I've only lost a pound. No biggy, I'm not so concerned with my weight as I am with how I look and feel. Zon has already noticed a difference, a positive one, so I think I'm headed in the right direction.
Ana is still Ana. Just more so. ;-) We are teaching her Christmas carols now.
Yep. However, her parents will be coming back down for Christmas.

I keep hoping that I can knock the slightest dent in their smugness and ignorance. Just, to switch metaphors, plant the smallest mustard seed of doubt in their self-righteousness. Over time, I hope that it will grow, and maybe, if not cause them to vote Republican, at least to sit at home on election day in an agony of doubt and indecision.
I'm dreaming, I know. But maybe, just maybe. Also, it's fun to say an outrageously (over there) conservative thing, using their own principles to do it, and watch them swarm to the attack around me. As I don't care what they think, I am hardly harmed.

They are insane. Short of psycotropic drug therapy or Electro-Convulsive Therapy, I can't imagine having a success rate that would justify wading through that particular sewer.

Well, you're probably right. I guess I just have fun slumming.
I will say this for them, though, they have some fairly non-political forums that I enjoy. The Cooking and Baking Group for instance. I can't post there because it's restricted to those who have donated and so far I have not been able to bring myself to contribute, but I've gotten some great recipes there.
Hey, what are the French best known for? Even more than their cowardice, arrogance, treachery, and stupidity? It's their food. And DUmmies try to emulate the French in every way.

LOL!
I saw a real chimney sweep when I was in Germany, and I was so surprised I nearly ran off the road.

I have to do my work-out in the morning, or I won't get to it. I feel better in the morning, and really run down in the afternoons. I've lost about 30 pounds since I moved here, so it's all good.
I've decided to hit the thrift stores for clothes for the intermediate stage. Once I hit my goal, then I can buy new stuff.
I bet Ana learns the carols very quickly and very well! LOL!
Oh. Christmas, eh? Want to come and visit? (heh-heh)
