"You know you've worked your pecs a bit too hard when the "pump" makes it difficult to wash your own hair afterward." Gallagher says you can reach a point where you can't wipe your own butt.
Don't go that far!

Gallagher was also the wit who coined the query: If your knees bent the other way, what would a chair look like?
I LOVE that man!

I thought it was actually quite good, Bob. Especially in view of the fact that I still can't seem to get my brain to wake up. Even so, it made sense to me.

It would be contumelious of me to floccinaucinihilipilificate your poetics. I can find no reason for opporbium in it.

Skinny little Muppets like Gallagher have no clue what they are talking about. Yes, you can be too SORE to do so comfortably, but such actions can still be accomplished.
If all else fails... bidet.

" I still can't seem to get my brain to wake up..." My brain gets a little woozy when I get supremely fatigued, but usually, if my eyes are open, my brain is going like an energizer bunny on afterburners.
If you look behind my eyes, you'll see a spinning squirrel cage surrounding an event horizon.

Great words!
I can't even begin to imagine how you could spell them, much less, think of them...

I noticed that, the last time I saw eye-to-eye with you. (Was my "Vacancy" sign showing in mine?)

"I can't even begin to imagine how you could spell them, much less, think of them..." (He misspelled opprobrium! Spell check caught it, but I don't think it even looks at words over twenty characters.)

But how do we know that's what he was really saying? Maybe he was speaking in code ~~ a secret message to a paramour, maybe? Or a warning for the zombies? Or a an undercover grocery list?

"Was my "Vacancy" sign showing in mine?" We all know that you have trouble remembering and focusing from time to time. Fortunately, you are one of the few people who has trained herself to recognise such things, and to seek rest when it is needed.
The rest of us just go bumbling on, erasing whatever positive actions we've taken in more alert times.

I picked up floccinaucinihilipilification off of that stupid commercial on TV. It basicly means to "judge something worthless".
In regards to Bob's poem, I couldn't find anything worthless in it. Ie; I liked it.
I supposed I could have just said it that way, but that would have negated any humor value to it.

Awwww...Thanks!
I don't always catch myself not-focusing, though, and that's when I start to get stupid and say things that are better left unsaid. But it's nice to know that I can be accepted (if not actually forgiven) for my frequent lapses of decorum.
It means a lot. :o]

Yah, I figured that's where you got it, but every time I try to say it, I can't get past the 4th syllable! And yes, it's a funny word, and an even funnier statement!

Good morning. I gave in last night and took a decongestant. I'm still trying to wake up.

Morining!
I hope you're feeling better, even with the decongestant hangover.
