I guess freak catastrophes do happen, like NO and the Tsunami, then you have Iceland - it has so much volcanic activity, it's physical map has to be changed every few years (think Surtsey Island)!
BTW, they are doing a lot of worrying about the geological activity under Yellowstone Park - what do ye make of it?

Yellowstone is very interesting.
Apparently the entire park is inside a volcano. You can see the crater walls from space.
Very cool. Will she blow? Who knows... I'm just glad I live to the west.
