I'm SO glad your Thanksgiving was a great one! When I read of your brother, I was reminded of my son. He, too, has a wonderful sense of humor and loves to make people laugh. :o]

I had a better than average (for me) Thanksgiving because I was with nieces and nephews whom I hadn't seen for 20 years. Lots of changes, and lots of memories!

And they all turned out to be GREAT cooks!

In our family, "most" of the men are the REALLY good cooks. I'm one of the exceptions. Actually....strangely enough, I'm the oldest and I really am talentless with regards to cooking. Also, my youngest brother is the same way. But my other two brothers, and my brother-in-law (whom we've adopted as a brother) are FANTASTIC cooks! Two of my brothers cooked the main course this year. One baked a smoked ham, and the other cooked a pork tenderloin. :-) I ate like a king!

The one who cooked the tenderloin is the comedian. :-) He would start on about something and get my one sister to giggling...then we'd "sort of" laugh, and she'd snort (by mistake) and then we'd laugh HARD...and then he'd make fun of her and we'd laugh even harder! Oh I tell you... my sides hurt and I laughed so hard that I cried. :-) We ALL did. :-)
