We have a high death toll on Irish roads per year - 400+ in a country of four million - I notice though, that 'penalty points' (black marks on your driver's license), on the spot fines and the drink-driving laws aren't really helping!!
BTW, we have a high wind blow - not unusual for this country, but it's a north wind, not the prevailing south-westerly, November is not generally a 'snow month', it is more of a 'damp-cold month', but it looks like there is a blizzard coming!!
