We've got room for about six hundred backseat drivers. Each of our shuttle/thrusters is a ship to itself, with a cockpit and control systems.
They are currently set to operate under cooperative control, but our backup plan is to occupy the pilot's seats as fully as we can.
You have to remember that the shuttle/thrusters are also our lifeboats, if an emergency comes up.
So while some of us will be relaxing in hot tubs or comfortable couches, others will be alert and looking for any signs of trouble. Good plan, eh?
