When we're lucky we get some snow. Brightens things up a bit for as long as it sticks, which is rarely long.
Of course, when it snows it brings down trees and powerlines, and because it snows so rarely nobody knows how to drive in it which doesn't really matter because we have so little snow removal equipment few roads get plowed so one might as well stay home. In the cold and dark. *\;-)
Which is why we have woodstoves upstairs and down.

Snows here all the time and no one knows how to drive in it. That's why I work a "hardship shift" to avoid having to commute during "rush hour".

Which is why we have woodstoves upstairs and down.
Spent many hours chopping and hauling wood as a kid. As an additional heat source, my dad added a Wood Burner to our basement. Really does nice things to warm up a house.
