I definitely need a glove for my string-hand - the Mad Bastard will rip my fingerpads off if I don't
the asymmetry works as advertised: bowhand's metacarpals align with the radius and ulna; bow revolves lazily in the bowhand after loosing the arrow, string delivers a mild slap on the outside of the forearm (instead of skinning the inside surface, like conventional bows have a habit of doing); no recoil in the wrist.
