Computers can't even multitask - they multiplex, remember it's only the appearance of doing two or more things at once, when really concentration only switches intermittently between tasks.

full conscious attention to more than one problem/process at a given time is probably not within human capacity.
However: the human mind has the capacity to give less than full conscious attention to a given task. It is well within human capacity to give primary conscious attention to one task, secondary conscious attention levels to one or more other tasks, and subconscious attention to yet other tasks, simultaneously.
