I can't imagine!

Be glad. It's not fun eating when you know that an "off" taste (usually meat/fish) can descend in seconds to violent nausea. I was very nervous about Korea for this reason, as I was about my earlier stay China.

Only one trouble spot in Korea, sea cucumber, which I had been warned about but which was nothing, until one bite...

In China I even ate a chicken's foot (unknowingly until I encountered all the little hard things inside), but it was delicious!

Egads! I enjoy foreign cuisine, but there are times when mac and cheese is just the safer route!
