One team has already won. WHO ELSE SHALL WIN?
The first five Patriot games I went to the Pats had 5 different coaches.
1989- Berry
1990-Rust
1991-McPherson
1992-Scarnecchia (McPherson was in the hospital)
1993-Parcells
I saw that score. And to think I was gonna go out to a sports bar and watch that game. Glad I saved myself to 30 dollar tab.
Yep...a beauty at the end. Was there with my son. Eli was awful in first half, but he stayed focused at the end and got the job done. Toomer's best game in a while.
The Broncos suffer from the same malady. "Prevent Defense" sucks!
Watch how many 8-8 teams make the playoffs this year.
Pete Rozelle's dream of 32 teams, finishing the year at 8-8, is well within reach.
Cortez Kicked To The Curb
IRVING, Texas - Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells was concerned about Jose Cortez's performance even before the veteran kicker missed a 29-yard field goal attempt in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 13-10 loss to Seattle.
On Monday, Parcells decided to cut his losses.
"It's just been too many erratic things," Parcells said of Cortez's release. "Too many problems. We'll just bring Shaun in and see how he does. I don't know that he'll do any better, but it would be hard to live with what we got now."
Parcells said rookie L.P. Ladouceur's high snap before the kick wasn't a factor.
"The ball was down," Parcells said.

In training camp, Parcells said the reason he cut Billy Cundiff (who never missed a kick from inside the 40 last year) was that he needed a kicker he could count on inside the 40.
The problem with the Cowboys is Parcells. EVERY SINGLE TIME the Cowboys were inside the red zone Sunday, they ran on first down, ran on second down, then passed on an obvious passing down, 3rd.
Parcells has two superstar receivers, Keshaun Johnson and Terry Glenn, yet he hands the ball to rookie backs running behind a Flozell Adamless front line.
If Big Bill doesn't open up this offense, he could bring in St. Peter to kick field goals and it won't make a bit of difference.
As a Cowboy fan its hard for me to gripe about a winning record, if that changes my opinion of Parcells would be negotiable.
We dont have an Emmitt, even with Julious Jones. Keyshawn should be able to out jump most defenders for receptions if Bledsoe can get it anywhere around him...and Glenn has very good hands. I agree, use them too.
