Thank you. I was thinking of you yesterday and your pictures.
I was on a mountain top and I had a plate of smoked fish, cheese, sausage and crackers, and a single small stump of a tree to put it on.
I wanted to take 4 pictures of the plate; North, South, East and West because I had a 50 mile view in each direction. Canyons and La-Sal Mountains to the South, Canyons and Hentry Mountains to the East, Canyons and Thousand Lakes Mountains to the North, and really big canyons and Boulder mountain to the West. Canyons were all of the waterpocket fold, in Capitol Reef National park. The little stump was the hightest thing on the rocky summit. The mountains are all between 10,000 and 12,000 ft. high.
The trees all around are beautiful gold this time of year.
So I shall walk through your album, and enjoy it very much. Thanks for the inspiration.
