the R's are simply too dumb to know what they voted for.

While I agree that the D's are the primary traitors, you give the R's far too much credit; they're not dumb, at all. They know exactly what they're doing...actually, they know exactly what they're NOT doing. If the majority of R's were more like Zell Miller than what they've become, there'd be less traitors to America and to conservatism.

I'm not excusing them.....and I know there are some that are more like dems........but for the most part it seems like they simply can't handle the constant negative drumbeats of the MSM. This is a difficult war.....the war for America, and we shoudn't be so quick to defect from those who support us, even though imperfectly.

This was what happened when Perot ran for office and the defection caused 8 horrid years of Demo control. Nothing I see in the R control can even come close to that horror. If wejust complain and defect, surely we will get Hillary with a Demo congress, the horror of that can't be imagine. We do better to correct them when necessary....I called a bunch of Senators, and I have confidence that enough of us did for them to know they made a huge mistake. They heard.

I am not saying that we shouldn't criticize, nor that I am not angry with some of the things Pubbies have done, but surely if we desert them, we will lose not just the battle , but this very real war.
