Yep, in spite of all the coverage about the Libby indictment I don't think things are going the way the dems had hoped. It wasn't the celebration they dreamed about, they wanted to be rid of the "Boy Genius" "Bush's Brain" because they attribute all the GOP gains since 2000 to Rove. They wanted Rove indicted in the CIA Leak silliness so they could say, ah, ha, see, Bush lied about the war but instead they got Libby.... only not for leaking that Plame woman's name but for forgetting who he heard about her from and when. She was such an unimportant factor that he didn't even know her name.... apparently none of them did until her worthless excuse for a husband started blabbing about her all over town.
The dems had been chomping at the bit about the possibility of Rove being indicted, thinking that would throw the White House into meltdown. But, then, today the President nominated a sitting judge that is almost as textbook perfect as John Roberts. It so threw them off their feed that the best the libs could muster up is that he wasn't the President's first choice and that Laura Bush had wanted him to nominate a woman. Schummer, Kennedy and Leahy were all frothing and sputtering about dividing the country over that same old, tired Roe v Wade argument.
