Question: Would his attention be worth it? Or would you be thinking of sacrificing him to the dark frog later on in the evening? I wish I had a dark frog. That is too hilarious.
This guy was a psychologist and silly me to start telling him my problems. LOL

But I think Darks will object to the girlfriends part. Isn't 'girlfriends' strictly platonic? Or do you think he wants more?

Well, for the same reason that one gets pointedly told that nursing bras aren't sunglasses, people have no sense of humor anymore!
They call the guys with the butterfly nets out, or worse.
I also learned that big floppy denim purses cannot be worn as a hat, even if it is a bold fashion statement protesting the fashion industry mega-opoly.

To: phantomworker
Well, I'd semi-jokingly said to a friend in forum, "I'm gonna draw you for that!"
And then I did.
With their permission.

LOL.
Psychologists tend to have baggage.
They are fascinating to observe, but they are fragile inside under the shell.

Ah! I have a hard time sitting quietly alone in a shady corner unobserved. It is commonly difficult for an unattached female to do that. Why can guys do that, but women cannot?

Well, depends on what one means by girlfriends.
Some mean "Friends who happen to be 'girls' that are my friends".
And some people tend to mean "Just gimme the girl!"
*chuckle*
I usually mean "Friends that just happen to be girls that are friends."

You'll have to ask him.
What I meant however is that he would not want to be called *girlfriend* hehe
To: phantomworker
Guys don't have obvious physical parts around the thorax that bring instant attention no matter the lighting level.
So guys can fly 'below the radar' in a room.
Women, obviously, have noticable physical differences from men, and men are 'hardwired' in the brain to notice such.
The only time I have NOT been able to 'fly under the radar', I was delivering a message, it was ladies night, and I was almost the only guy there.

That's so funny...I missed you guys (friend who happens to be a boy that is my friend). LOL
And some people tend to mean "Just gimme the girl!" *chuckle*
Just gimme the guy, if you have one. LOL (I am very much a prude, btw, which is why I can laugh about it, LOL)

LMAO!!
WELL I thought so....
What a mental image. Do not go there.
LOL!
To: Darksheare
I think you're right about psychologists. They are fragile under the shell. I was telling him stuff that maybe only Catholics would tell a priest. I thought he was tougher than that! ROFLOL

My best friend said something of me once.
She called me a 'twisted innocent'.
But she was amazed that I was oblivious to one of her friends 'flirting', and said, "NOBODY can be THAT blind or naive!"
Well.. I shattered that knowledge for her.
And THEN somebody bothered her and I told them the ways in which their life would get fascinating if they kept bothering my friend.
Somewhere between me saying that the thug girl would not like my reaction, and explaining what a fabric 'bucket' chair is used for, my rep as a nice guy was destroyed and I was labeled as twisted.
I can never win.
I should work more on trying to be known as a nice harmless short skinny pale guy..
;-)

Was an interesting term my best fried came up with.
My missus had a conniption over the term though.
Which brought about the discussion of celibacy in marriage and why that is a bad thing.
*wincing chuckle*
