My fingers are absolutely frozen. It's 27 out, but with 20 mph winds, it's really cold with wind chill. I just had to go out and close the back forty so the horses can't get out there... it's windy enough that we might get limbs or deadfall on the fence. The back forty is closed off with electric handle gates that are tight in warm weather, but really hard to stretch when cold.

I just put on a pair of my husband's long johns. Looks like the mare will foal this afternoon or tonight and it's bitter cold here. Cold enough that heat lights in the barn don't do much :) Have I mentioned I hate winter?
