Just some information I picked up this weekend...I don't know what kind of shoes that Bay has on, but you might think about getting him in some of these...
The roll at the toe moves the breakover back and keeps the stress off the end of the coffin bone and the rim design on the sides lets their foot roll to the side better as they turn, also decreasing the stress on the navicular bone. But if you don't like these, they said that at least using a normal rim type shoe like these St. Croix Eventers is better for basically the same reasons.

I want to have a discussion with both the farrier and the vet this spring to make sure we're doing all we should do. I want Bay to stay sound and comfortable, not just this summer, but as long as he can.
