Good morning!

I am so excited!

I just had my first English riding lesson ever and my teacher said it was rare that someone could pick it up in a matter of minutes!

Her husband was in the area also, training a horse and he said it takes some people months, which I find hard to believe

I was trotting and I asked her what I was doing was called and she said (I think)
"A rise posting while trotting"

I am a "natural horse woman and didn't know it!

LOL

Sounds like you've got it all together! Congrats! Did her husband ever talk her into letting you ride that younger horse?

Good job! Learning to post is hard for most people. You must have good natural feel for the horse's rhythm and excellent body awareness to pick it up right away.
