I like to watch tv news with the mute on.
Before I got the DVR and could skip them, I used to watch the commercials with the mute on. Have you ever noticed that you seem to "see" or notice more things with the mute on? I don't know what it is, but I'll notice things in the background more when there's no sound. Maybe my brain is distracted by the sound, or maybe the sound is making me see only what they want me to see, or maybe I'm just weird. Anyways, it's just something I've observed.
Then you can make up your own news. (In announcer voice)Today the Democratic party disbanded itself and assigned all assets to the Free Republic saddle club...etc.
