I'm really not relocating, I would spend winters south and the rest of the yr at our cabin. It is hard to leave friends and kids etc. But if I pick a nice warm place for the winter, I'm sure I'll have lots of visitors !!
My grandparents lived at the beach house we still have in the family, and I remember when we were at the house one nice sunny Saturday and there was a knock at the door. She looked, and whispered "Oh - it's Nancy, she's one of my fair-weather friends!" And there was Nancy and her whole family, kids all in beachwear with shovels and buckets, just stopping by, for the whole afternoon. :~D
