Virtually no one who raced in the Triple Crown races will be around for the Breeder's Cup. There may be one or two, but that's it. The best horse to look forward to is probably Lost In The Fog. He will be in the Sprint. He has won 10 in a row and is undefeated. He is a VERY good little horse.

My son-in-law just came home, totally upset. He had just witnessed an Amish horse get hit by a car. The family, in the buggy, were not hurt, and neither was the driver of the car. The car ended up on top of the horse. Poor thing was kicking trying to get up. My SIL held the horse while the policeman shot it. He (SIL) tried to get them to move the car off the horse first, but like I told him, the damage internally would probably had been too great. It's a dark cloudy day here today, and it would be hard to see a black buggy. Still, there are a lot of Amish in the area, and people should be cautious.
