I jumped my Arabs ;~D And we did OK!
And I've penned cattle on Bay... though not very well, and the steers belonged to a neighbor whose cows got out ;~D
It's just pourin' here.
I once helped pen some escaped cows on a QH - but he was a racing QH (7/8 T'bred), 17hh, he had been retrained as a hunter-jumper, and he had never seen a cow in his life.
He did all right though, seemed to know what to do with a little prompting. He even started putting his head down and shifting side to side like a cutting horse. We got the cows back through the gap in the fence, and everybody had a good laugh at me on my tall skinny horse in my jumping saddle and breeches and boots . . .
