My meals are usually spent in front of the PC. I think the only time I sit at a table is when I got out to eat.
Family gatherings are nice, but your plans sound wonderful too. When my mom was alive, we had all the "fixins" and family together. My daughter's dad has a very large family, and they have a big doings at every holiday. Women cook and clean up and men watch football!...lol
Here too. I'm not sure ecurbh and I have sat at our table more than once since he's been here. :~D
