Good job on the stall doors! They look like they got racing stripes on 'em with those different color boards.

Henkell sure is pretty. Those markings on his upper front legs and thighs are really cool. They look like lightening bolts.

That big tree out by the pasture fence is really nice. It looks like a hackberry from what I can see. Your house sure has some really nice shade trees around it too. It keeps it cooler in the summer I'll bet. I hate it when they go in and bulldoze every tree in sight when they are doing a new house. It's such a waste!

I love those trees! They keep the house cool in the summer. Only problem with them is that they drop dead limbs all over the place and spread out laterally. We have to keep them trimmed back. The ones behind the house are fruitless mulberry trees. The horses love to eat the leaves which fortunately are not toxic to them.

I am not sure what the other tree is. It could be a hackberry. Technically, it is on the lot next door, but the lot is empty. A farmer used to farm it but it has been sold to someone so the farmer isn't using it anymore. I wish someone would come out and mow it though. Since the farmer quit farming it, the weeds have taken over.

The boards are different colors because I replaced the rotten ones on the pallets with new boards.

I got those pallets for free some years ago. I used to work for a computer consulting company. We sold a bunch of Compaq servers to a customer which were delivered on these really nice pallets. We were just going to throw them away so I filled up my truck and took some home. I use them to put hay on.
