Well, the dog got a reprieve. I got the name of a guy that picks up dogs in this area and he wants to take it to a lady that he works with that rehabs dogs. I told him that I didn't the dog was rehabbable, it acts like it has brain damage, but he said this woman works wonders and can bring any dog out of its shell. If it works out, they will find it a more suitable home, one that's no so chaotic as mine or my sister's.
My shoer got the halter on the filly and it wasn't easy. He had to rope her. I can take it from here. (I hope)
Also, the shoer looked at the donkey and cleaned out a big abscess but she's foundered so many times that the hoof wall has separated. It's getting dirt and grime up in there and causing abscess after abscess.
I hate to hear that about Charlee. Maybe something like an Easyboot would help, but I'm not sure if they come that small. Poor thing!
