BTW - I ended up getting 10 bales of grass hay while I was there (as long as it's nice out) so with the dog food it was still $100... hope that's OK with the bank balance ;~D

...let them play naked on the grass for awhile. Speaking of naked...I saw your South Park self-portrait over on the "Create a South Park Character of Yourself" thread. Verry Cute! Ecurbh's was too, but he had clothes on, the party pooper. ;o)

LOL....how come the no clothes portrait:)
Harley and I had a nice peaceful ride today.
I put the cashell back on him. I think I'm going to try to find something different. I think it's great but it makes it even harder to get on:). The saddle just won't stay in place. Do you think a thicker one piece pad would make a difference?
I probably just need to work on getting on and off more would be a better solution:)

Well, took blankets off and groomed horses a little (not too much 'cuz I knew they'd just roll) but Cyn had some dreadlocks in her mane and Bay had them in his tail. Then I opened up the front pasture to let them run in the sun. :~D
And of course I took the camera :~D

I don't know if Cyn just has a long blink rate or what, but it seems like I catch her running with her eyes closed more than any other horse ;~D
;~D

Thought the lighting looking back into the shade was cool

I think it's good to take a good look at them without blankets from time to time over winter. When they wear them all the time, it's not easy to assess their weight. All look pretty good to me :~D

A thicker one piece pad might be a real good compromise between the thin one and the cashell.
