This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will now be pinging everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

He prefers to be ~on~ the crate.
It's a pretty rough lookin' crate... I got it free as a pretty rough lookin' hand-me-down, I imprisoned Gidget in it at night when she was a chewin' pup, and it's spent the last five years outside in the rain.... but it'll work for a day or two. There's room for a little litterbox in the back.

He's about 20 pounds...
Wait, I'm really behind the 8 ball, but kitty number 8 is your single cat... right? lol.
It'll hold the little monsters for awhile till everyone gets accustomed, especially when we aren't around to enforce good manners. :~D
So when do they arrive? I realize that you're 3 hours behind me, but I keep thinking that you aren't! :-D
Heh - yeah, he's the only kitty right now - but his chart at the vet (hence is official name) is "Kitty # 8" - we never named cats in my family, they never come to anything but "Kitty kitty" anyway ;~D
I guess these kittens will be #9 and #10 :~D
They aren't coming till 6 my time. My friend has to get off work and go get 'em for me.
Oh Hair you have to give them names! I couldn't imagine Bay, and Pony, and Cyn all being Ponies 1 2 and 3! :-D
We didn't name the pony either! She's just Pony #1 :~D

Just got back from lunch... picked up some kitten chow and litter while I was out, so I don't have to do that on my way home.

The white one doesn't really have pink eyes, it's the flash ;~D
