I've had both and prefer the french doors. Sliding tend to jam and get off track.

I've got a french door out of the living room to the back yard. It doesn't let in as much light as a slider would but I do like it better. Seems sliders alway end up with stuff in the tracks and the screen starts falling apart. 'Course it could just be all the people and animals that are always around at my houses.

I have a french door off my den. I used to have a sliding in the double wide we lived in and I didn't like it. Maybe I just had a bad one. Anyway my french door has the squares for security. One of these days I'm going to put another off my bedroom and build a small patio. When we built our house we went cheap and didn't put in a lot of windows for security and expense. It was a mistake. I don't like a dark house and we are slowly adding them back.

It's a big sucker. Our cars are always in the driveway so someone had to carry it to the street.

Have you seen those tube sky lights? We are installing one in our bathroom and will see how it goes. It's where the round vent in installed. My neighbor did it and during the day it's like the light is on. Entirely solar.

Those things are cool! And they've got 'em now where they have a remote control and you can close them if you don't want so much light.

I have seen them and I love them. I'd like to have one in the house, I just have so much other stuff to do first.

That would be great. That has been one of my concerns, if I got one. Sometimes in the desert shade is a good thing :)

Tell me about it. We gutted our master bath about a year ago and are slowly putting in back together. We are going to try putting one in.

Let me know how it works and how hard/what's involved in installing one okay?

Good Morning....

Sunny and close to 70 today! Too bad it gets dark so early.

My 6 year old Granddaughter and I put the tarp on the camper last night. I took a lounge line and hooked it to the rings and threw it over the sides. It took us about 2 hours to do it. Moving the ladder around was the killer.

Good morning everyone,

It is a beautiful day and I can't go riding $#@$$#!!!

I had a biopsy yesterday on my left boob and bouncing around on Waylon wouldn't feel too good. I hope I can go this weekend because the colors are gorgeous and if it's warm, which it should be, a ride would be great.

I'm taking the day off and planon lazing it out and reading books and playing on the puter.....man I love days I have an excuse not to go to work or do anything else. What a gift!!

Good morning.

Well I hope everything if fine.

Our weather is gorgeous here too. Near 80. The trees are all about to lose their peak color but are still pretty. I've been doing major housecleaning and will stay with it today. So no riding here either. But the nice weather is welcome, I can leave all the doors open and with the clean windows it's like being outside.

I've talked Mack into putting in the sliding patio doors this weeked. We should be in tiptop shape by next week and it will be nice with the holidays coming.

Becky

It was so nice outside yesterday here. A day off during the week is such a treasure, isn't it?

I wanted to ask you a question though. Do I really need to go thru a Realtor to sell some property? Is it hard to sell by owner?

What do you mean "bouncing"? Your not suppose to bounce on those kind of horses...lol Seriously, I hope you have good results. This really is unusual weather for this time of the year. They are calling for rain this weekend. Are you planning on going to the horse sale on Saturday?

Is it hard to sell by owner?

Are you capable of handling all the paperwork? The banks do a lot of it, but a Realtor handles a lot. You might have to hone up on your local laws also. AnAmericaMother is a lawyer, maybe she could offer some suggestions.

Selling by owner is tough. My sister tried to do it once -- it's pretty complicated and there's unfortunately a lot of legal stuff you have to do. There's also the issue of not being able to list it on the MLS, plus figuring out the correct price for what you have. If you have a lot of time on your hands, you can do it, but you may lose some money through not pricing correctly. And you'll still have to hire a lawyer to do the closing, and pay for title search, title insurance, etc.

I used a realtor. We negotiated a reduction in her commission.

I hope everything is alright with you.

Good morning, have a good lazy day, and I hope you can go riding this weekend!
