Anybody watching this racist ba##ard from NY? He is the worst of the worst and while I rarely side with O'Reilly, he did well at showing up this racist ba##ard for what he is!
/snarl
Rangel just got his butt kicked buy vibrator boy......
Why even bother posting?
I try desperately to avoid EVER seeing Rangle. I must pretend that people that stupid do not exist, or I will go insane.
I was listening--teevee is in the other room. I'm not fond of O'R, but he did well on this one. Rangel is a disgrace.
The key problem with the African-American community is self inflicted...including their electing the likes of Rangel and so many other flaming idiots to represent them. I can list off at least 10. Their elected representatives are the real plantation owners who continue to expect little of them or themselves
BOR ripped the slime-from-NY a new one tonite that's for sure! Hit him with so many lefts he was begging for a right!
"Would it be possible for you to be LESS specific?"
?
If he keeps up this bull connor stuff, do you think that GW will find a way to disperse his constituents to red states for rehabilitation?
At least you spelled the question mark correct.
Rangel called President Bush "Bull Connor", who was apparently a racist politician down south several years ago, because of the rate of poverty in the country. O'Reilly had Rangel on to challenge him on this fact, and O'Reilly then presented data stating that the Bush adm. has spent far more on poverty/entitlement programs that did the Clinton adm., and that the current poverty rate under Bush is actually one percentage point less than it was mid-term in Clinton's term.
O'Reilly wanted to know on what basis Rangel was basing his rhetoric, and of course Rangel could not respond coherently. O'Reilly wanted to know what on earth Bush was supposed to do - go to the homes of the poor and tutor their kids, make sure the families use birth control, etc. Rangel was steadfast in his portrayal of Bush as someone who would not help the poor; O'Reilly was steadfast in citing statistics that stated otherwise.
I know most people here hate O'Reilly, but 95% of the time he does a very good job of defending the administration. He does go after them in certain areas, such as illegal immigration, but he always has data to back up his arguments.
Nah. Just the ones that like to hear themselves talk.
It's about time someone FINALLY took this racist pig to task. Rangel never did answer the question of what he wants for the poor people besides keeping them dependent and down on the farm.
" At least you spelled the question mark correct."
Wouldn't it be 'correctly"?
The problem with many Black democrats like Rangel is they are stuck in the mode of believing that without them, we would not be able to navigate life.
Albeit less so, racism is a fact of life but it isn't the only issue we have to deal with on a daily basis. Liberals like Rangel got it in their collective heads that it is. But it is the issue of race many democrat politicians feel they can exploit easiest because it taps the most basic emotion all humans have. Fear.
In all of the discussion between O'Reilly and Rangel, not once did Rangel discuss the thing needed most in our community and that is training and teaching those who are most under resourced community of people the lessons of self-sufficiency. So that a father can support his family on his own. However that won't happen because to do that would free them of their most potient weapon used against many of these race timid republican politicians; the ability to speak clearly and directly to these unaddressed issues of the Black community using their own voice. Doing so is consequential for democrats because it would cause Black people to perhaps chose the republican party over the democrat party.
But democrats suspect as I do on some level, for some mysterious reason that republicans are largely afraid to cease this issue and own it.
Rangel got a serious beatdown on the O'Reilly Factor and it was well deserved.
