live vicariously Vicarious baby smell, vicarious cuddles, vicarious worries about another c-section...
Lillie's favorite word is "BABY!" My daughter hasn't had the first exam yet, but I am thinking she'll have her little brother or sister in early March, just before she turns two.

Smiling, moueing, winking, pouting,
Girding all her wiles, for flouting,
Looking for some Young Gent,
Whose resources have gone unspent,
All ready for the picnic outing.

I think the hurricane is chasing Nagin!
Not trying to be ornery here (that comes natural!) but I think the Texas evacuations are a bit akin to when you get a speeding ticket, and then are really careful for the next month or two. Texas, which admittedly has more sense than LA, is not about to take any chances this soon after witnessing the devastation.

Among the young Southern Belle set
They think young Yank gents are all wet
Those silly boys show no sublety
By ignoring their coquetry
So! Let them choke on a chicken croquette

You can say that again. I have had to mow Rock's little acre only once since June. We had an inch and a half a couple of weeks ago. Only brought the grass back to green.

That was really good. Can I distribute it to my friends. I won't even claim it as mine, although I'd like to.
