Lilly was a great defensive lineman that originated from Throckmorton's six man football squads.

Lilly was an amazing lineman, and we're omitting Walt Garrison who played linebacker with a broken collarbone. I've had one...now that's tough!

Lilly's father-in-law was my doctor 20 years ago. Judging by what the doc said about him he was an even better son-in-law, husband and father than he was a football player. (And a hellava good photographer, too.)

(Must confess...my old high school dropped to 8-man and now 6-man, and while it should be easier to figure out, I just can't stay with the games. PLENTY of scoring, but too chaotic, and it seems like only 3 guys are needed to play ;)
