Was anyone watching CNBC Morning Call today when Ted David asked the California Attorney General, and I paraphrase: "Is the money being spent on the War in Iraq jeopardizing the safety of Californians, because the government should be spending it to shore up "below sea level" areas of Northern California. Even the California Attorney General looked momentarily taken aback by another golden opportunity to bad mouth W.

The only areas of CA that I know of that are below sea level is Death Valley, some 200 miles from any source of water that might cause flooding.
What ares could he possibly be talking about>

My atlas says that at its lowest point CA [Death Valley] is (282 ft.) below sea level. That is a lot of fill, even if you use all the BS being put out by the Media.
