I am no fan of Penn's, but as far as the bullhorns go, I think he's right. In a situation where modern, current means of communications have been undermined or rendered useless, it's not such a bad idea to hang on to those means which remain reliable.

I will take issue with his whining that a means of cleaning off his boat people should have been available. That was simply not possible. I have a feeling "eeeiiiuuuwww" and "icky-yuk" were his main thoughts as he rescued people. If he came down to take it upon himself to go looking for people, he should have brought his own protective gear. If he didn't, then he has no reason to complain.

I agree, Sean actually made some sense here. I don't think this was Bush-Bashing at all. This one is on the mayor. Now understand the Mayor comes from a Cable Company, so he probably just assumed that everybody had a television. At the very least, they needed to be in those poor neighborhoods with those busses to get to elderly and invalids out of there.
