The lightbulb just went on in Sean Penn's feeble mind. It seems the problems in New Orleans were caused by a lack of bullhorns. And we're supposed to take these people seriously?!

And city buses, too. Fancy that.

I agree, Sean actually made some sense here. I don't think this was Bush-Bashing at all. This one is on the mayor. Now understand the Mayor comes from a Cable Company, so he probably just assumed that everybody had a television. At the very least, they needed to be in those poor neighborhoods with those busses to get to elderly and invalids out of there.
I saw someplace that Dr. Phil had arrived, but he sortof has 'skills' that could be used to help the evacuess deal with the stress they are under. I did not know (but should have guessed, silly me) that many members of the Screen Actors Guild would rally to the aid of NO (with stylists, no doubt, in tow.)

I've worked (in many and rural venues) with the police on recovery and hostage rescue several times before, and I've never seen a lack of bullhorns.
Seems to me that New Orleans had a long party while it slowly decayed. Underneath the glitter we all see and read on the MSM, New Orleans was nothing but graft and anarchy. Many years' latter it'll be written that God took vengence upon the chaos.
This truly is a biblical event.

You Hollywoodites just can't seem to comprehend that in the real world, there is no script, no retakes, no editing out. The first shooting is the only shooting and we live with the results.
You people earn excessive wages for pretending. You have portrayed a soldier a time or two for instance, and earned more for your efforts in just one movie, than a real soldier earns in his/her entire lifetime, assuming they live to collect their retirement bennies.
This country and the world would be better off if you pretenders stuck to your pretending, and relaxed in the lap of luxery that your earnings make possible and stay the hell out of the way of those struggling to keep this real world going.
Okay. Those buses should have been hauling the elderly and invalids out, and they had ample fore warning to have done just that. Those with good health and good legs and feet shod in the very best sports shoes despite their poverty stricken status, had adequate time to casually walk out of NO and be half way to St Louis before Katrina hit.
Ergo,the stupidity and irresponsibility of the victems themselves, compounded by the total and criminal irresponsibility of the Mayor and the Governor, created a tragedy of historic proportions, far beyond that nature could ever have done on it's own without the full cooperation of the sh*t for brains humans involved.
It will come to light that President Bush cut bullhorn funding several months before Katrina.
If Bush would have just went out and bought bull horns and then went door to door in the poor neighborhoods of Nawlins - none of this would have happened!
