well sure, but in the meantime, the DC Dems and the media are busy tarring Bush at every turn. where is their political "turn the other cheek" approach to this calamity?

They do not seem to realize that their doing a lot more damage to themselves they are to Bush. Bush came across as one of us, rolling up his sleeves and getting to work. They come across as a bunch of hysteric political bigots excited at a chance to use dead Americans as political props. Just like after 9-11. They pulled the same crap the 1st couple of days after 9-11. Bet you by Sunday all this sort of hypercritical coverage suddenly disappears from the Dinosaur media.

Here's what should be happening....

Bush should make lemon sorbet out of Lemons. He should ride tall in the saddle and come to the rescue of the people of the Gulf Coast. He should show leadership-- the Presidency isn't too big a job for one man. See Reagan.

Why on Earth would he give oxygen to BJ Clinton and Hillary right now. Talk about giving that terrible twosome help for '08.

Has anybody seen Sid Vicious Blumenthal's editorial blaming Bush for this?

Bush needs to lead. It makes no sense for him to say America could go it alone in Iraq, but he can't go it alone in Hurrican relief. It's nutty.

Someone from one of the think tanks or at NRO should also be making the case that the Democrats styming of the Energy Bill is why gas is so high and the energy infrastructure hasn't been modernized.
