Goodbye.
Gah, I've been tricked by Bush's evil corporate military-industrial complex yet again! Curse you, George Bush, I'll outwit you yet!
On 9/11, I lived in a high-rise just slightly skewed from a complete and direct view of the Pentagon.
However, I have multiple photos of the smoke plume rising from the crash, taken from my balcony.
Wierd, my first reaction was "don't take 395", because I was scheduled for a biz meeting north of Baltimore.
I heard and felt the second "BOOM" - which was an exploding propane tank at the Pentagon - and the biz meeting was cancelled.
I don't get infuriated, but I (and you) know the truth.
Those of us in NOVA and particularly in Arlington/Alexandria/Fairfax know exactly what happened.
Well, you can see the flames are burning hydrocarbons.(They've been speeded up - probably by a factor of 4 or 5-to make it look like a TNT/dynamite type explosion.)
The reason you see only still image from the security camera is because it video reccorded only one frame every second... nothing was confiscated and hidden.
The slow frame rate is common in security cameras because they are mostly interested in scene changes, vehicles. and people, not 530MPH jet aircraft crashing into the building.
In addition, to fit a whole day's surveilance on a video tape at anything near enough resolution to see anything requires a slow frame rate.
Sigh... yes, It has, numerous times. Both "black" boxes were found in the wreckage as well as pieces of both engines, instruments, passenger body parts, scraps of aluminum aircraft skin, pieces of the distinctive landing gear of a 757, etc.
I have posted pictures on Freerepublic of the parts in situ in the Pentagon along side Boeing schematics of the parts, photographs of the parts both on and off an exemplar Boeing model.
