Small article in today's paper about a pilot project where Coasties and RCMP sail on each other's boats on the Detroit River so they can bust people on either side of the border. If it works, it will be expanded to all other US-Canadian border waters. OK, as long as no one brings a pig... ;~D

Heheh... yes, the Pig War. I didn't remember that it was settled by arbitration under a panel headed by Kaiser Wilhelm I. Seems odd.
