Heh...the only Ethan I've known well was a very tall, very nice, but rather boring guy I worked with at my last job. Monroe could work...though again, I've known people with that name.

What about one of those snooty kinda names that are last-names-used-as-first-names?

Someone suggested Langston Monroe ... but breathing "Oh, Langston!" just doesn't sound real passionate, you know?

"Lang" is lame; she'd have to call him "L.T." or something. I've decided to name Ethan's father Langston; it suits.

"Oh, Ethan!" sounds a bit better, do you think?

"Veronica" is going to turn into "Vonnie," I suspect; I'm not real crazy about "Ronnie." I have a friend whose name is Veronica, and her family's pet name for her is "Vero." I'll have to think about that.
