I don't think I've noticed the apostrophe one, but it's going to get me when I do.
My daughter and I noticed a particularly annoying use of punctuation that seems to be sweeping America: the use of quotation marks to emphasize truth, when they really imply skepticism.
For instance, we saw some product labeled "genuine" whatever it was, with the word genuine in quotations! To us, that implied the stuff was fake, but apparently the vendors thought the opposite.
