Time Warner would certainly be the easiest way to set it up. Tell her not to go with their wireless option though; it's cheaper in the long run to buy a wireless router and wireless NIC, and pay Time Warner for the standard service.

Or, if it's a new cable connection, just have them install the cable drop in the bedroom. Then she won't need wireless at all.

She used to have Time Warner cable but she switched to Direct TV. Don't know if the Time Warner cable is still there...if it is, it doesn't go to the bedroom.
