Yah... but in SF... there aren't any R's. Just D's. This ia a town where they really do think there is a difference between "Progressive" and "Socialist".

Austin is like that... the city council choices are between the openly socialist, the merely liberal, and the transvestites.

Williamson County, the county to the immediate north of Austin, on the other hand is one of the most Republican counties in Texas. You can spot any Democrat candidate in Williamson Co. by the fact that they don't put their party affiliation on their campaign signs. They know if they owed up to being Democrats they'd automatically lose. ;)
