It's chilly

What did we say about using bad language, young lady?!

Just found out I'm going to be sittin' kids again all this weekend :)

And the W&G movie opens tomorrow

On the other hand Tamagotchi are baa-aack :p

It kinda feels good. I can't sleep well when it's much above chilly. But it does get too cool just sitting.

We wanna see Serenity again this weekend...but W&G is definitely on the near-future viewing list.

I dunno anything about Tamagotchi.

Oh...yeah, I've seen those. One of the guys I worked with used to have one. He managed to kill it about every other day, I think. Or perhaps I'm exaggerating. Slightly.

I have two real pets, and so far I've avoided killing them. But Tam is pushing it lately. He's using a lot of very LOUD polysyllabic Siamese words tonight.

Good evening all...

Got my new video card and spent 3 hours trying to get it to work in my system... failed. So for now I'm still running on my crappy old video card.

Thinking of getting a second hard drive in my system and installing XP on it to make a dual-boot system. That way I can install all the drivers fresh without having to reformat anything.

Tamagotchi "die" inexplicably for no apparent reason (is that redundantly repetitive?)

Gotta love Siamese :)

In other news:

The Lord of the Beans

Hate when that happens. What's the malfunction? (Like I could help...)

The video card driver is conflicting with the WinTV card driver. If I could fully uninstall the driver, take out the WinTV card, re-install the video card and driver, then re-install the WinTV card and driver, it might work. However, I'm afraid that uninstalling the driver won't work (an uninstall never really gets everything out of the registry) which is why I'm leaning towards the totally fresh install.

If I have to do a totally fresh install it might as well be XP (I'm running Win2K now) and a new hard drive means I wouldn't have to worry about losing anything on the old drive.

Besides, I could use the new disk space...

If you think it's a skunk, you might get a skunk trap. It's basically a trap out of plastic pipe just small enough that the skunk can not lift his tail. Only one good way to empty it though...into a pond...at least that's what our conservation dept guy said. If you trap it in a regular trap, getting rid of it will be real interesting! Keep us posted.

XP is a lot better at managing drivers than 2K. Might help more than anything to do that. NT4 was a serious PITA for driver conflicts... 2K was better, but still not great. But I have to admit... XP (Pro *only*) is a pretty solid product.

Heh...Mrs. 'nad notices the traffic...the rest of us (I admit I'm one) notice the food.

Divides the elves from the hobbitses, I guess...

Hmmm... plastic pipe... skunk...

Yah' know... if'n you mount a striker from a coleman lantern in the back end... spray in some Aquanet... screw on an endcap...

Then you got yerself a skunk launcher. :-)

The naybers six doors down would never figure it out. :-)
