I suppose this might already have occured to you... but how about retail computer sales? compusa, fry's, best buy, something like that. It keeps you up to date with what's happening in the market, and they sometimes even have a support dept. Usually a commission too.

Man, I hate leaving so close to the 3's... do you think anyone would get mad if I spammed 10 messages or so?

Dunno, it's really annoying when pulled threads stay in the sidebar forever.
Whew! Monday classes done, now I just have to do homework and stuff... until bedtime...

Yep. It's what my sister is now! She still doesn't have all the tools she'd need to set up her own shop, but seems pretty confident that she could build a violin alone now. She's about done with her second, plus has done lots and lots and lots of repairwork...which of course isn't as fun, but it doesn't pay badly.

Once again, I'm a day late and a dollar short for EVERYTHING.
Now...I just bought something at the guitar store a few weeks ago. No sign anything was up. Or not up. But they're gone. So all my brilliant ideas are too late.
Figures.
Now...if I was my brother Ben, I'd con some poor suckers into practically GIVING me the capital to start my OWN shop in the same space. But I ain't. So I'm just disappointed.

I wonder if that's better or worse than doing it in person, as far as hiring chances go.
Sure would be nice not to have to wait in the stoopid line, though...
