My ob/gyn said my grandmother's death had probably triggered the early labor. ....you know, there must be something about that. I couldn't even go to my mothers funeral because the doctors were worried I would go into labor and I was only 5 months pregnant. That was very hard for me, but I didn't want to loose my baby.

My gosh, that must have been hard. I spent some time with my gran the day before she died, but her funeral was in New York while I was in the hospital in Michigan. You did the right thing, though. I am a firm believer in the "mortality trigger." Five months would have been exceedingly premature.
